I just got my rear disk kit in the mail. My car has the drum rears on the 10 bolt rear. it looks like my stock wheel studs wont be long enough. Im also going to end up running a 5/16 spacer between these wheels and the disks. Did anyone have to get longer wheel studs when doing this?

My rear kit from Touring-Classics came with longer wheel studs. They were about 1/4"-3/8" longer than stock.

how long are the stock ones? I called Summit and all they had were some that were like 3 inches long? They would be way too long.

My stock studs were 1.5" (excluding the head, but including the knurl) and the new studs supplied with my rear discs are 1.75". They're just regular press-in replacement studs. The company name on the box is AIMCO and the part # is SN234. Probably the easiest way to obtain these is to call Touring-Classics (http://www.touring-classics.com/) and see if they will either sell you some or tell you where you can obtain them. They're REAL good guys to deal with.

Just checked with Napa, they can't find that part number or cross it over to another. Did i just get a stupid parts guy? Is there another store we know stocks it?

I had to take one out of my car and go up to the local parts store and just start comparing them 7/16x20 thats really the easiest way. unless you want the 3inch ones?? The guy at oreilys let me do that but since I didnt have one in my hand to compare to I didnt do waited got one out of my car and then went to autozone.

Hi there I see that your looking for longer wheel studs. I found these on at this site http://www.moserengineering.com/catalog/catalogprices.htm#Wheel%20Studs 8060 - .480 knurl & (7/16) 1 1/4" long15/set of 10 Hope it helps.

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that the Moser wheel studs are the same length as the oem studs. However I was thinking that the wheel studs from 1979 T/A with 4-wheel disc brakes would work. So with a little help from my GM buds who work at GM SPO looked up the P/N and blueprint. The studs are as follows - .480 knurl & (7/16) 1 1/2" long. I ordered 10 from a GM dealer and they are longer then the ones on my Nova . List price is 1.67ea. I got them for 1.05ea. The GM P/N is 9590271. I hope this info. will help others out there looking for longer studs, but want shorter then 2 7/8" long studs.
