this was at alabama international yesterday testing out new drag radials.

I am still shooting to dial it in to 10.0 but this was in 43 degree weather so I am pretty pleased.

Fastest the car has ever run.

its so new I cant state any details on it until thursday since its not on the market yet.

Look for their announcement on it thursday as part of their global launch for PRI...

They just called and are sending me another set so it will have brand new ones on for PRI :D

I told them -well if you must I guess I will put them on.

WOOT!

Have you compared them to the MT et radial or et street? I'm curious if they are going to offer more sidewall then MT currently does in the 17"/18" world. If not.... It better be the stickiest tire on the market or else it wont be a hit with todays current selections.

Not busting YOUR balls, Its just a ongoing battle for a better DR in the 17"/18" scene

I have not - I have run the bfg and the hoosiers in the last 2 months and I like this one the best so far.

The hoosier is very sticky but the tread balls up and flakes off where this one is not doing that and has a deeper pattern for longer use.
It also has a good tread patter if you want to tool around town whereas the hoosier cant really do that.

135 is a stout MPH !
And it doesnt even look like you have the 60ft dailed in yet.
That thing will fly on a good track day.
Sweet sounding stang !

yea - we are running a 3.23 gear and 25.6 inch inch wheels that are 35's so we are not even running a proper speed drag radial.

this one is for street and strip all around.

We will run a 15 inch rim with a 27 or 28 inch tire which we are estimating the time will drop into the 9's and speed will be in the 145 range.

a warm track will also help - the track was 43 degrees that day.

Really awesome car!

What was your 60'? It looked like the car hooked pretty nice after you rolled it out a bit.

Thanks
