have ls1 setup on my 69 w/wilwood 1" mc. passenger front rotor shows normal wear on back side but on the front side the rotor is glazed over (lack of contact w/brake pad) about 1/2 way up in the brake pad area. pulled the brake pad and it showed about 3/4 of the pad was worn but the other isn't. whats up?

sounds like a slide pin problem. Does it move freely?

What adapter kit are you using?
Is it centered properly?

Pictures?

using the brp kit, i'm stupid don't know anything about a slide pin adjuster, i just know it looked to be sitting in the caliper correctly.

There are two caliper slide pins bolted to the caliper body, each with a M8x1.25 x 20mm hex head cap screw. If everything is installed, you can pull the two M8 fasteners and lift off the caliper and then remove, clean, inspect, replace and/or regrease and reinstall the pins. If the caliper assembly is removed, just knock out the pads, pop off the rubber dust boots, and slide the caliper body complete with pins from the pad abutment bracket to inspect the pins.

Lack of lubrication and/or contaminants will not allow the caliper to slide smoothly and can cause uneven pad wear and taper in some situations. Poor pin alignment with the pad abutment brackets can also cause binding, so be sure that everything slides freely upon reinstallation.
