I just bought a Trailblazer SS and the dealer had to order a Owners Manual for me..
What should I run for gas in this thing? It is my daily driver so I want to keep the price down but not ruin the motor..
Thanks

well they say to run 92+ octane but you can run 89 but will not get the best performance. I would run 92+

I'd say run premium, whatever that is out where you are. The best we have out here is 91 octane. That motor has close to 11:1 compression, don't cheap out when it comes to fuel. Get a good brand of premium fuel.
We've been seeing a lot of fuel related problems on new BMW stuff from people trying to save a buck by filling up at the cheapest stations possible. I try to fill up at 76 or Chevron and avoid the discount stations.

Use whichever fuel/grade you tune your engine with.
premium from a quality source. If you go to a higher traffic station, they usually have premium for only a little more since they actually move it as well as the low grade stuff. Smaller stations want lots more for premium because they don't move it as much usually.
