So I saw this on ebay and it was too good to be true. I clicked thebuy it now anyway since it looks legit and I can drive there in about a day. I tried telling the seller that I could drive there today and give him the full amount and he said no payments in person. He also said to just do a $2,000 deposit through pay pal within 24 hrs or he is reporting me to ebay. WOuldnt you just prefer the money in person? Ebay item number is

I think it is for sure a scam... that's just way too cheap for that car.

Also, who doesn't accept payment in person??? lol

Oh wait, he doesn't really have the car, so of course he won't do it in person.

F'ing thieves...

I wouldn't buy it either, but he's right that you're breaking the terms of the auction. I would have seen his terms and wouldn't have bought it without getting confirmation of the deal first.

He sounds like an ass just from the stuff in the auction.

Yeah it sounded like a scam just kind of wanted to see what kind of stuff the guy would pull. I sent him an email saying that I was local and I have the full amount to deliver in person within 24 hrs. I asked him if it was a scam and he didnt reply. Im not worried about it. I know ebays on my side. Just kind of want to give the guy a hard time.

When I first started thinking about building a '68 Camaro I saw one very similar to this on ebay. This guy had a rebuilt '68 sitting in a warehouse on the docs in NYC. He was in fact in Austria, where he had been sent for his work. SURE... Anyway, I emailed him and said just let me know and I will fly to NYC and give the person the cash. This wasn't going to work because why? he never had a car. He just needed the 2500.00 deposit and he would even pay to have it shipped to me. Man, is this guy great or what? ( I think OR WHAT!) So I did what any other person would do.....Yes I started messing with his head. I told him I would give him an extra 1000.00 if we could work a deal, but I would have to pick up the car in person. Everything went good until I said I had to pick it up. After a few more emails he told me he guessed I just didn't want the deal and he was going to have to let someone else have....Oh Well...

Yep!! I sure hope for his sake that he is going to pick it up in person and pay then. Some negative feedback is a LOT better than loosing the $$$$$$!

IMO the car looks to be about 5-10K underpriced. WHY??? There is an old saying: "If it appears to good to be true ...... it usually isn't true!!"

Buyer beware!

Look at the latest feedback on this knucklehead.

If you send this assclown money you'd better get a physical address so you can arrive & beat the bag outta him when he tells you the car doesn't exsist.

Good luck.

Contact Paypal AND Ebay before sending any money....they may get a fraud sting going on it.

His previous auctions allowed cash in person. Wonder why that changed?

I basically told him that it made no sense that I couldnt bring him cash for the car and pick it up in person. I mean really who doesnt need the money. So he left me feedback saying I uphold ebays integrity and that Im a good ebayer. Now hes off to scam someone who doesnt have half a brain.

You should report him to ebay as a scammer anyway!!!!
