i have been reading stuff on here for sometime but i am just now joining. i am a regular on gbodyforum.com and reconize several people on here already. my project car is a 84 regal but i also own a 84 cutlass, a 90 cadillac eldo, a 90 cadillac seville, a 85 riviera and a 05 impala. my regal is going through a frame up restoration or maybe i should say custimization right now. right now the car is on sir ride and 17" eagles, i have a 350 ramjet long block that i am planning to run a holley stealth ram with a modified tuned port harness and computer running it, i have a fresh 200r4 but i am thinking i may build a 700r4 instead and use the 200 in the cutlass. i have gray leather buckets out of a mid 90s boniville that i am using in it along with the back seats. i use to be a huge stereo nut so i have a all eclipse system with dvd, screens, 12 titanium sub, 3 amps.... i have full air ride with 2 compressors, 5 gallon tank, firestone bags..... f41 thick front sway bar and rear f41 sway bar for now but i plan to upgrade it, all poly bushings for suspension and body mounts, electric cooling fans from a mid 90s camaro, grand national sumped tank, all dakota digital gauges, shaved everything including firewall. i literally installed a asc power moonroof that i am in the process of shaving the trim ring off of so it looks factory, s10 sealed hub dual piston front brakes with brembo drilled rotors, rear 1LE 12" discs that will have sloted rotors soon, 3.42 posi rear in stock housing. i think that covers allot of it.... i plan to paint it blue and silver 2 tone and keep most all of the chrome on it, oh yea i shaved the vinyl top off... i have thought of getting rid of the air ride but it is just so nice to be able to drop it at the car show! i am also going to box the frame while the body is off of the frame. right now the car is literally torn to pieces and most body panels are stored indoors so that they will not rust. literally the only original parts on the car right now are the shell of the battery, the harness for the interior, the dash and the brake booster/master cylinder, i have replaced everything else at least once! i hope the air ride and stereo dont make you guys think less of me. my concept is to make my old school car as modern as i can get it and have something that will handle nice, be fast and be fun. i am not into all out racing or to have the loudest stereo or nothing like that, i kinda want a little of everything if that makes any sense at all?? well thats it for now. later
