In the open discussion a question was asked about wiper motor locations other than stock. here are some pics of mine as it is in a location that worked for me very well with the parts supplied by DSE and one fabrication mod of the stock link from the wiper motor arm to the bellcrank at the wiper arm.
Here are the pics. Any questions feel free to ask and I can get more pics.
I also included my rear emegency kill switch gas cap cover and my brake equalizer and my engine in it's current state.

Looks good Jim. No pics from my project yet, but my Nova has a larger volume cowl and I plan on using a Jeep Cherokee wiper mounted in the cowl like how Jeep does it. I've read there's a VW wiper that fits in the cowl as well.

Jim, I was considering doing exactly what you have done, instead of putting it in behind the fender but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Was there a particular location you installed the motor---maybe where a screw once was or anything like a marker explain to me where exactly you did drill and it work? Did you use the DSE wiper switch or did you figure a way out to use something different?

Looks good the way you hid the wiper motor and I like what you did where the gas filler was .

The location was decided by the length of the stock link more than anything. I was able to just cut the end off of it and rotate it to go on the arm. Once installed I just line it up ,cut the link to the right length and welded it on. I could have lengthened it easily with a rod in the u slotted area.
I did use the DSE switch which made the whole install so much easier and it looks great too with the billet knob and bezel. The wiring was just long enough that I didn't need to lengthen it although if it had another few inches it wouldn't have hurt but it is just fine the way it is. DSE did a great job on the universal kit and the base was easy to make it mount up with ease.
I do have it drawn on a piece with all of the holes marked. You can move it a little bit around the area but it is somewhat that position that allows enough clearance to rotate and not hit anything. The rubber seal on the kit seals good and the clearance for the crank arm to the sheetmetal is about .030 and more than enough.
I have run it with a load on it and it is as stable as it needs to be. It is no more noisy in the place it is than where it would normally be.
Measuring for the exact location would be easy as there are many things to reference from under the dash.
I am glad you like it.

The kill switch was something I had thought of using a traditional lever type switch but when Flaming River came out with the push style kill switch it made it so much easier. Now with just the removal of 2 nuts I can take off the outer piece ,remove the center and the red button is right there.
I am really looking forward to finishing it as soon as the right theme for it comes together with other items in the car. I keep thinking of a Z51 engraved, lasered or cnc'd in the center and Chevrolet Cormaro on the outer ring or maybe Pro-Touring,G-machine or something else around the outer. The outer is capable of having flutes or holes drill in it too. If anyone has some ideas I am open to them. Even more than one style could be made rather easliy.
Creativity is still alive in my garage. :twothumbs
