L.E.D. reverse light bulbs are the perfect compliment to you DIGI-TAILS digital L.E.D. taillights. Each bulb has 27 Dual High Intensity LED's angled to fill each housing perfectly to correct the problems found with other 1156 style LED bulbs. Priced at $25 each. We have these in our online store now. These would make great stocking stuffers!

Hi, Mike. So, the LED tail lights are only for the brake light (on a 68)?

Which ones are you talking about?

I get confused. In the first post it's said a compliment to digi-tails L.E.D. tail lights.

I'm definitely waiting for pics. Right now, it's so dark when I shift into reverse that I may as well not have reverse lights.

Thanks no hurry over Christmas. Just was hoping to see a pic before taking advantage of your sale. It (10% off Spaghetti Engineering products) runs until the end of the year correct?

Kids bought me a set of the digi-tails front and rears for Christmas. Aslo bought the reverse light bulbs. Since we were away in Atlanta visiting the oldest daughter I never got around to messing with any of this until last night. I removed one 1156 reverse light bulb and installed one of the led ones to get a side by side comparison. The led is a much whiter light but I seriously doubt it's any brighter than the more yellowish 1156. Actually looked like less light from the led to me. I am going to do a comparison test after it gets dark tonight and just put one of each type bulb in to see the diff on camera. Have to wait until after the Rose Bowl though. The reverse light bulbs are pretty kewl looking though.....seem to be nicely made.

Finally have pics. Although a 69 Camaro bucket is not the ideal setup, it was the easiest for me to mock up to show. The way the light sits in the 69 housing, it blocks a portion of the LED light since LED's are directional. It would be wise of anyone using the reverse lights to paint the inside of your housing white or bright silver for maximum reflectivitiy. As far as the 69 bucket goes, the light is not any brighter, just a different color. If you have a different car with the bulb orientated differently, the LED should be somewhat brighter. I do know I was not able to install a set of these in a 67-72 truck. There is an interference in the metal socket and the shoulder on the bulb. It starts to lock in, but could not get it to seat to prevent it from coming out.

Mike, thanks for the pics, very informative!

Think it would fit in a 69 RS backup assembly w/o problems?

As far as I know, the lights have fit everything else they have been put in.
