A guy at Lt1intake.com modifies lt1 intakes to fit on a L98 motor. I have a pre 1986 small block with a 2 piece rear main seal. If I buy this intake will it allow me to run a complete fuel injection setup off a lt1 on my motor? I am looking for fuel injection for my car to add forced induction but i am on a budget. I don't want to run a blow-through and deal with tuning it. If this will work on my car how much power can a Lt1 intake/fuel injection make? thanks. Any info will be appreciated!

You can run the fuel injection of the LT1, but without the optispark, or the reverse flow cooling. You will have to run water passages outside the intake from one head to the other. The LT1 does not have provisions of water passages through the intake. It doesn't matter if the block is 85 or older, or 86 or newer. I believe he also machines the bolt holes to use on either style heads.

All you do is use AN fittings and a remote thermostat housing for cooling and simply look into the small points distributor converted to HEI and have intake machined to use a distributor or switch to DIS.
I am building a setup that uses Northstar DIS and is programable, heck I am even going to mount it in back where dist went, even found cam sensor to keep the DIS setup in fast start mode.
