View Full Version : Ford Mustang TB on TPI/ LT1
Anyone compared the Ford 58mm TB to the TPI/ LT1 TB. They are cheap and 58mm. If hey don't are to different it wil be cheap upgrade. Will have to modify my LT1 intake anyway to use it on my Gen1 SB...

Are you talking about the twin 58 ml Tb or something else? Most likely you will have to modify the heck out of the TB mounting flange. For the cost involved to mod the intake or TB, making certain the TPS and IAC will speak to the computer, you could probably do the upgraded TB. Just my .02

I will running a programmable LINK ecm. The electronics is no problem. I was mostly thinking of the flange to the intake. If the CC on the throttle blades is about the same it should not be to hard to make a spacer/ adapter.
