Well today was my last official day at work. I am retiring from the Air Force and we had a Thanksgiving meal for the troops today. So I decided to take the car and get a couple shots around the F-15 that I have worked on for more than half my career. They didn't turn out to good with my camera but a couple buddies took some better ones for me. Just thought I would share.

Thanks guys for the kind words. I really like the Walmart greeter job idea. Actually we will be moving back to Wichita Falls TX where I will be taking a job overseeing a civilian aircraft maintenance contract for the government.
Steve, I sent you a PM---thanks

instro84, thanks for the offer. The tail has EG for the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin AFB.
novaderrik, I couldn't ever think about the miles on that thing but it probably has about 10,000 flight hours on it. Just too bad it still isn't a number's matching hot rod.
You know, maybe the F-15 could be the Air Forces Pro-touring version of a hot rod. Great looks, big motor, big brakes, can do the road course in the sky with the best of them, great top end speed and one good extra--WEAPONS--

My vote is for the 16, mostly bacause of its pt style manuvering capabilities. That thing will turn on a dime and give you 9 cents change! Just my opinion though.
