Need some help here for a friend of mine, He has one of the original 1969 SS/AMX cars in his garage one of only maybe 53 made for Hurst, he is also the driver of this car from back then, car is in as raced condition and looks very nice, he is a little disabled now and wants to sell it and i offered a little research for him on pricing, anyone have any idea on its worth, or know anyone that collects AMX cars, I will get some pictures this week and post them.

Thanks

Steve

Do you think if I had a picture the Archive gurus at PHR
would have any history on this thing?

Thanks

I love the 68 and 69 AMXs! I almost picked one up a few years back...

It was sitting in a shallow stream near a horse farm... I saw it on a few occassions over the course of a couple years. Finally went to check it out. Had the 390 and "Go-Pack," AC, auto trans... lots of surface rust, but was really in great shape.

So, checked the VIN, and turned out it insurance had paid out for total loss... so I thought... SALVAGE! Well, long story short... I went back a week later and it was gone. Had been sitting there at least 4 years and then it was gone.
