hey guys gonna be going to florida for a week or so, and will be between naples and orlando/tampa, let me know if anyone is in the area, i can stop by and check out any projects

You should run over to Daytona one day and check out Bike Week. It starts Friday and runs through next Sunday. I will be down next weekend. Let me know if you come over - eight six five 850 eight two two eight.

I'd love for you to drop by my parents' place in Riverview (south of Tampa), and yell at my dad about not shipping my Mach to me in Seattle yet. Damn Mach has been a 3 year project and it's almost done, and I don't know when I'll ever get to drive it!!! :banghead:

Other than that, just enjoy yourself. It's a good time of year to visit... 3 months from now it'll be a freakin' sauna again.

I just checked out your site and you have some good links there. I'm in Riverview also. I plan on building my '72 Mach into a pro-touring car some day. Just trying to absorb info for now.

OK, It's official, It is a party at my place, Laughing. Steve (streetfyter68) is coming also however some may just miss one another ever so slightly. Looks like Jake (68protouring454) is coming in the next couple days, I think he is in Naples now, and is heading home I think end of this week.
Steve (streetfyter68) and Bill (Bill Howell) will both be in town late next week, Steve (Steve68) is a local customer. So he will be there whenever.
I expect a phone call from Jake next day or so, I could give you a call OHC and Stve 68 when I hear from him. I can also let you know when the other guys are coming.
Steve and Bill, Looks like both you guy's will be around on the 11th and 12th, thursday and Friday. I am going to suggest a possible Friday afternoon visit, followed by dinner and whatever to discuss the finer things on ProTouring, Clears throat!

Old Town goes off every Saturday night, 300 to 500 cars. Lots of old JUNK as many by any old car old enough to get in, just to get in, but lots of nice stuff too. Other then Old Town, I cannot think of anything going on in July. Daytona is a ghost town if there is no special event so do not waste your time. NPD is really nothing to see, tiny showroom, a couple 2nd gen cars and a couple display cases.
About the closest to July event I can think of is there is a No Bull race on August 6 at the midnight drags.
There are groups that cruise sometimes, moslty strret / race rides, but with no schedule and moving locations. You can check in with me as we get closer and I will know what is going on, if anything. If anything is going on, if we are going out, you can catch a ride with us if you want to.

I checked out Daytona scedules.
No race in july..

The Pespi 400 is July 2,05 on my schedule unless they have changed it. That is a night race and they have a decent fireworks show afterward.

I will be there at about the 14 or 15th of july.
And stay for two weeks.
So I'll miss that Daytona event.

So maybe I'll visit the other two raceways.
A night with dragracing or testing, whatever.
I'll love that as well.

Our points night at Orlando Speedworld (very close to you) bracket racing is Saturday July 16. Test and Tune is every Weds and Fri, but bring your chopsticks as it is a high carb rice fest. I fact, No real cars will even show up at T N T anymore.
Stay in touch as we get closer, we'll hook you up with some action.

What are you talking about Frank, I love listening to cars spinning through the 660" and watching The ricers spin the front tires and drag water down the track, Oh and eveytime these yah hoo's with there Lightnings blow the coolent hose and blow anti freeze the entire length of the 1320'. Then we get to sit and watch Randy and the boys clean the track for 2 hours, and don't get me started about the inconsistent turbo rotory junk that usually breaks, Thats why everyone calls it Slide World, there new mission statement "We cater to as many $15 street imports as possible" I watched anybody with some power put it on the trailer or give up after a run or two, Oh well,
