Hi Guys,
I am a G-Machine guy from way back. I have owned a variety muscle cars. The car I miss the most is a 1971 Z/28 4 speed I had in high school back in the 80's. As muscle cars got expensive,I got into Saleen Mustangs and sport bikes. These toys were fast, but didnt have near the personality of my Z/28. I started reading Popular Hot Rodding if the late 90's when they started covering cars that could do more than go straight. I knew that I had to build another pro-touring muscle car but could'nt find a suitable project. My luck changed last year when I scored a 70 Trans Am
4 speed car in the local paper for $1000. It is gutted but is all there except motor and trans. My plans are pretty tame compared to the stuff I read on this site. Someday maybe a magnacharged LS1 and a six speed,
but for now, I will settle on the 462 pontiac that I have already built, and its gotta have a muncie 4 speed. I still remember how fun it was to bang gears in my Z/28...
