What is the difference between the LS Series flywheel and clutch combinations ??

I work at a Chevy Dealer and I've sold several LS7 clutches to guys with LS1 and LS6 Camaros.
So I figure the clutches between the LS1 , LS6 , LS2 , and LS7 are interchangeable.( Maybe even LS3 )

But.... What is the difference in the flywheels ?
I think it has something to do with whether the LS Engine is being used in a late model Corvette with a torque tube and rear mounted transaxle OR a camaro or GTO with a front mounted transmission.

I was told that the Corvette flywheel has some hind of "hub" design ???
Is the crankshaft in a LS Corvette Engine different from an LS Camaro/GTO Engine ???

So , if a guy had a 2001 LS1/LS6 Engine , what flywheel / clutch could be used with a TKO 600 in a '68 Camaro ??
