Hey folks, just got back from SEMA and I wanted to share a rendering I finished just the other day.

For those of you that haven't seen this car in person, it's hard to explain just how insane the car really is. It's a fully-built race car designed to race NASA and other similar circuits. The actual car is still in development, but JME has been displaying the car at shows for the past year or so as a showcase for their latest parts. They contacted me to help visualize the finished product and to give them something to display for showgoers at SEMA. I'm sure we'll do some revisions in the near future, but here is what we arrived at just one day before SEMA.

I hope you all dig it!

So is it starting life as a 70 or a 05 up??? Street car or Drifter????

Thanks! It was a great show. Definitely scaled back a bit from the past few years. My biggest gripe of the show was that the new Camaro was the "official car of SEMA" this year and there were only 4 or 5 of them there...There must have been over 100 Challengers there and dozens of Nissan GTR's. Just seemed funny to me I guess. I think next year will really be the year of the Camaro.

I believe that it will be considered a kit since it's completely custom and utilizes the repop 69/70 Mustang bodies. I'd have to let JME say for certain, I'll be sure to tell them to register here!

Sick!

What series are they gunning for?

There is a little thing called the 25hrs of Thunderhill they could enter it in. No better way to evaluate a design than to race it for 1 full day plus an hour.

Right now they're thinking NASA, but are open to running it in several classes. I'm sure once the car's 100% finished they'll be more set on which series they'll be running it in.

Yeah it was at SEMA. It's just about done...but it's still technically in development. They haven't finished the hood, diffuser, front splitter, headlights, and a few other things. It's really coming together nicely though!

Here is a pic (http://semadigital.com/netpub/server.np?find&catalog=catalog&template=detail.np&field=itemid&op=matches&value=28694&site=showvehicle07) of the actual car at sema.

Vintage body w/ '05+ front end on it. It was at SEMA last year too. Pretty sure they claimed to build it for AI/X last year...
