Edit: You'll notice the chin spoiler is gone. A deer took it out on the way home from a club meet about a month ago. I'm lucky he didn't do worse damage.

Thanks Colt. It's actually the original factory color: QQ1 Bright Metallic Blue. I got lucky and bought a car that I like the color. I've seen triple Green Chargers(paint, vinyl top, and interior) and I don't think I could live with a car that ugly.

I am in the process of doing some upgrades on my charger. I have done a lot to it so far but, I want to change some things to make it stand out just a little bit more. I like what you did with the gas cap, and the door handles. I am just wondering, where do you have your ducts running to? One of the thing I am planning on doing id fresh air. One thing I do not want to do is cut up the hood.

I plumbed them to the radiator support. The support is wide enough to provide enough room for twin 4" ducts plus a 26" radiator. I also could have run them to the inner fenders or through the inner pair of headlights like the older NASCAR stockers did it. I mocked it up one time to see what it would look like.

I may do that eventually. But it involves a lot of cutting and fabricating for little benefit.

Pete, I really like your car, what kind of times does it turn?

With a ton of wheel spin, I ran 13.75 at 105mph on the first run. It was my first time and I was afraid of breaking the trans. My buddy with a 9sec Hemi Dart called me a ***** and told me to run it to the 6000rpm limit on each shift. My second run was 14.07 at 108.5mph, banging off the rev limiter as I went through the traps in 3rd gear. I need to practice launching so as to eliminate the wheel spin.

My identical motor is running low 11's in a '63 Savoy. The difference being the Savoy is running an auto trans and the suspension is setup for dragracing.

I like it! Is that a low deck stroker motor? Good MPH for what I'm sure is a fairly heavy car. Get it to hook and you should run at least mid 12s with that MPH.

I say leave the chin spoiler off, looks better IMO, the chinspoiler looks out of place and uneven with the rest of car. I think the car looks great now!

Hay thanks for the pics. I am not going to be able to use the front rad support for the cold air. It is way differant then the roadrunners. I am going to use the 2 access holes on the fender by the lower frame rails.

That is a pretty good time, considering that it is not built for the 1/4 mile.

So what have you done to the suspension?

-circle track torsion bars(1.120")
-welded-in subframe connectors
-1 3/8" front swaybar
-7/8" rear swaybar
-the k-frame has been reinforced at all attachment points + all seams were welded up
-the stock lca's were boxed with steel plates
-tubular uca's
-XHD rear leaf springs
-polyurethane bushings
-KYB shocks

I'm also running a 13" front disc brake kit that utilizes 13" cobra rotors and 4-piston circle track calipers.

108.5mph should be good for some solid 12's if you can get that thing to hook up!

I can lower my car pretty easily, but I like the ground clearance in a car that get's driven a lot. I didn't go bigger than 17" wheels because of the added weight.

Decided on the 18x10 and 18x9 bullitt copy wheels in the black spoke/polished lip with 295/35/18 gforce drag radials out back, 255/40/18 up front gforce 2 tires

The AR viper setups are badass, but those calipers are $$$$$$$$, I wish I could afford them

Im going to paint mine a light to medium silver I think. Either that or white with a red stripe around the rear quarter and trunk like the originals had.

The interior is going to be black with red accents since I already have black with red sparco seats

Still looking for somewhat affordable big brakes. I wish baer made their 13" track kit, since they are cheap(use cobra rotors, pbr calipers) OR SOMEONE to make a bracket to make cobra rotors and pbr calipers fit. 13.1" and 1.1" thick

None of the wilwood and 1/2 of the other stuff is any good, they all use .81" thick rotor and with my experience with those, THEY SUCK, they fade, warp, buzz and just suck, not thick enough for a 3600lb car

Used sets of Viper calipers can be had for reasonable money. Email Andy using AR's contact info and he'll steer you to sources.

Baer is making the "Track" system for B & E bodies now. The other set-up is AR Eng. with the Viper calipers like listed above. Beware the kit requires you to run the high offset wheels. The track width increases an 1 inch per side due to the width of the Viper calipers. I had to pass, since I have a fortune in my wheels.

Someone will be playing with the Brembo set-up on the SRT-8 stuff in the near future, I'm sure.
