Has anyone had experience with replacing a vinyl top on a camaro? If so is it truly a difficult job?

Thanks in advance

Hey John . I have done MANY tops and mostly on camaros ( since thats what i like to buy ) but a few other too , Monte's , Novas so on.

It really is not a difficult project but its easier if you have a extra set of hands or 2 to help when installing.
Actually i have a new top in the garage that i have to put on a friends 68 camaro .

If you want more info , just PM me and tell you more.

Just a NOTE , if your pulling windshields ( front and rear ) which is the BEST way and you get a better job, you can remove the OLD TOP , remove glass and Chromen and then have a shop do the install to save Money.
It usually costs around 150.00 to have a top installed but if you have the top already , 100.00 should cover it.

For a first timer and on a nice car it might be worth it.
For a motivated do-it-yourselfer , like me , i get more out of it saying i did it myself.

Good luck , let me know if i can help in any way.
