So we're on the way to the SEMA show in Las Vegas, doing our annual cross-country drive to the event when we spot this crop of old cars growing in a field off the highway... points go to the person who can identify them, and a V8TV hat goes to the person who knows where they are! The '60 Chevy is the easy one!

That blue tractor at the top is a dump truck, the other one is a tanker truck. The rest look a bit rusty for me to make out, if they are "growing" I will wait til spring to figure it out.....:candle:
Funny Bill! :)
The ones that are upside down all look the same to me! :wedgie:
Anyhoo, the one in the center still looks like a late 50's/early 60's Chevy - Impala maybe. Beautiful curve to the wheel lip. I'm hoping the one you're talking about is the right-side up car near the left/middle.
The right-side up one on the left might be a mid 50's Chevy, ala 55-56 Chevy.
The sky-bluish one on the right at the bottem of the pile seems to be a 4-door that is upside-down and was once on fire.
We need a higher res picture!

I chuckle when I see stuff like this. Farmers in our area used to dump old wrecks in gullys and ditches like this to stop erosion from rain and snow run-off. It was effective, but not so good for the cars. It looks like that's the case here as well.

That really does look like the area, but I'm thinking a little further west on 70 near the Limon area??
