My 68 camaro is on the road now but my 13 inch C5 brakes and ATS tall spindles are sitting under my bed instead of on my car because i cant find a wheel to fit over the brakes for under $2500. I have all the nice suspension goodies plus a mini tub and im running 15 inch ralleys instead of an 18 inch like i want. kinda sucks. the car looks great until you look at the wheels. What wheel would you guys run with the c5 brakes that is under $1500? I want a racey looking wheel if thats even possible in my price range.

Thanks
Jesse

A cheap alternative would be to go to steel rims I see people doing it here all the time... check out this thread sitehttps://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44691

I contacted Vintage Wheel Works about the V40 and they said they would fit over the C5 brakes. They should be cheaper than $1500. The 17x11 are $350 and the 17x8 are $300 total about $1200.

I'm in the same boat and need to pull the trigger. I loved my V45's in 16"-ers. Now with my new project, here we go again. I have alot of C5 parts and the tire selection is so much better for 17". VWW is a great product and great people. But you know that :)

I really like the price of that V40 but im just not sure if thats the look i want. I want that 3 piece race look for my car. I just can not spend that kind of money for fikse's or forgelines. I was hoping there would be something in a 3 piece for under 2 grand.

if you settle for something you don't want, you won't be happy. Save a little more and get what you want..

You may be able to find a 3 piece look for under 2 grand, but finding true 3 piece wheels for the price will be hard.

What he said! Save up your money and buy what you want or you will regret it! See if you can scrounge up some extra cash by selling old car parts or other household items.

What color are you looking at getting these wheels in? I like either the black or flat black. You found a very nice wheel for the price!

Save your nickles and dimes and get the wheels you want. If you don't you'll regret it every time you look at the car.

Im thinking the flat black or the super black coat. Ive seen the super black coat in person and it looks like a polished wheel with a dark tint. Pretty neat.
