Should I keep the hood or sell it?

I have this hood I got back east some time a year ago. It is a balwin motion hood (or I was told) L88 hood all steel with a fiber glass scoop. This off a 70 chevelle and I was offered $800 for it. I know if I hold out or even really try to sell I may get a bit more. I would like to keep it as this is not something you find on every chevelle like cowl hoods. I dont need the money but would help out the build move along. here are some pics. The black is the way it sits now. The yellow is the way it was when I picked it up. Thanx for your input.

Is a steel hood with a "fiberglass" scoop really worth that kind of $?

I personally would sell it as I am not crazy about the L88 look anyway.

I think that I would ask myself....is it something I will ever use? Will I be offered this much for it again? How much will selling this help me get my build done quicker?

I would think a Baldwin Motion hood is all fiberglass, if I were you I would take the money and run lol.

It would help with a set of headers.

Baldwin hoods for the 70 velle were steel. I contact them and sent them pictures.
