Hey guys, I just bought my first project car. 65' biscayne. Its got a 230 cid inline 6, 3 sp on the tree with 116000 orignal miles very very little rust... runs and drives but the motor runs real ruff until it finally gets warmed up. hopefully that tired old 6 cly won't be in there for long. anybody got any good motor suggestions? Im thinkin somethin on the cheap? and the front suspension needs some help!!! we got that under control tho. what do you guys think?? Any opinions?

Something on the cheap, readily available, and will bolt up to what you have is to go find a good old small block 350, some Vortec heads, and a good cam that will work with the heads, Performer RPM, good set of headers. Put it together and let er rip. Should even bolt up to your 3 speed until you get the scratch together to get a 5 speed in there.
