Was just wondering if anyone uses go daddy for anything? Iam thinking about switching over my stuff to them but wanted some more feedback before i made my final decision. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Jeff

I use them for my domain registration.
I do my web hosting through site5

I read a couple things about godaddy's web hosting that I didn't really like.

Site5 is pretty good and you'll find a few bad things about them if you look around but so far its pretty good for me and I hadn't had any trouble.

We used them for a while and were not satisfied. They hosted our email and website. We had weekly outages with them, maybe more frequently. For the price though $15/month or whatever we were paying, we couldn't complain too much.

I actually used it a couple nights ago for the first time. Only for domain registration though. I won't have the site up for awhile, I just wanted to secure the name.

I've been using them for registration for years. No problems there.

Can't speak for any of their other services though.

Registration is fine, hosting is bad. I registered through network appliance and am hosted through hostgator.com. Very happy so far.

It depends on what you need them for. They are king for domain names. Hosting is a little bit more gray. It really depends on your web hosting needs. If you run a small site it might be easier to handle both using one company. If you have a very large site then it will be better to go with a different company.

I used to buy domains from them and use their email. Did the same with 1and1.com, whose prices are better than go daddy and I have fewer outages.
