I'm putting a vintage air system on a 67 Camaro and a 76 Corvette.

I'm doing a ls1/t56 setup in the 67. Its a non ac car right now. In the 76 Vette I'm ding a LT1/t56 setup. Its was a A/C car. Can anyone help me with all the options in ordering these setups. What side do I need the compressors on..I'm guessing pass side. Do I go with the surefit systems? If so do I just upgrade to the serp. belt drive setup? I'm sure the brackets that are setup for the surfit won't fit my combinations so what do I do about that. Any help is appreciated.

We do a LOT of VA systems and know exactly what you need. on your LS1 you can either do a adapter bracket to mount it in the original LS1 down low passenger side location (requires a frame notch). or you can use a Street and performance high bracket.

Same for the LT1, we have a adapter bracket for the comrpressor in the stock location

I used the KWIK performance LS1 A/C compressor bracket, worked out great , and a lot cheaper than S&P. I paid $180.00 for mine.
