Hey guy's,
I am always getting ideas for all these crazy cars but then stop day dreaming and say you can't afford it. I want to hear some of the ideas everybody comes up with.
I came up with this one the other day.
I found a 68 chevelle wagon for sale on a site and I thought a sleeper style, all wheel drive, twin turbo LS7, full tube chassis, overdriven trans, and a car full passengers. Could you emagine the look on peoples faces when you spool that thing up!!
So let me hear them!!

I DO the SAME thing. LOL I would love one of those Deco Rides kit cars, the 1939 Lincoln Zephyr coupe that is low and sleek. Would get a supercharged FE 427 and a 5 speed TKO 600. Its a cool looking car but no one puts big power in them, and yes I would drag race it for fun!! Or a 1964 Marauder (to match mine) with a turbo modular engine and 5 speed.

Not sure if this fits the discussion, but I had a crazy idea the other day. I saw a new Tahoe Hybrid. I instantly wondered if I could get the whole hybrid drivetrain into a 2nd gen Camaro or 3rd gen GTA. If I had unlimited resources I'd do it, for S&Gs if nothing else.

i'm often amazed at the amount of money some people spend on their cars. i guess they are paying for a lot of labor and i'm the type to do all the work myself so i only ever add up parts when i'm day dreaming about builds. i figure that at the very most i couldn't spend more than $80k on my 67 firebird if i tried. but what i'd love to do with it:
air ride, aftermarket front sub, air bar rear. mini tub, forged 18s, 13" brakes. all aluminum 500ci pontiac w fast EFI and DIS, t56, 9 inch rear. smooth the firewall, hide the wiper motor. vintage air, aluminum radiator and electric fans, stainless fuel tank, stainless exhaust
cobra or recaro seats, autometer gauges, power windows & locks w/alarm and keyless entry, interior mostly stock otherwise. stock body w/400 hood, white with tinted windows. that's about it for me. nothing too flashy. though i would love to learn more about carbon fiber and make some CF parts for 1st gen birds

Nicely done. Although I think I'd go with the LS9 supercharged powertrain.

My mid-engine Beetle but an LS engine instead of the 1.8l or a '62 Chevy II with an IronWorks chassis and a blown EcoTech.

Wow lots of diffrent ideas. I have come up with a new idea in the last two days, but I think this one will be built after patty so nobody steal my ideas!! I want to find a 66 fastback stang, do a shelby like clone, do a mustang II front suspension, square tube chassis or maybe a double frame rail tube chassis, air ride shockwaves all the way around, 5.4 mod motor with a huge blower to make around 800 hp on motor, TKO tranny, and lots of custom carbon fiber, satin blacked out big blocks from bonspeed, disc brakes all around, and a modern version of the old shelby race graphics, to have the look of a old school top dog with all new school performance.

I'd have a Lola T70 Clone with updated technology and engineering.
Also a Mclaren M8 Clone with the same.
( Maybe these would have LS based engines )
Also one of each of the following:
A current NASCAR Cup Series spec '69 Camaro for track days. ( Kinda like a current version of Big Red )
It would basically be a Road Course Nascar chassis under a '69 body.
Engine , trans , suspension , brakes , hubs , wheels , tires and all.
For Track Days.
Not even street legal or street practical.
Another '69 Camaro with all the newest Z06 powertrain under it.
( That would mean the fully independent rear suspension , transaxle and all )
And all the creature comforts.( Air conditioning , power windows, stereo , etc..)
This would be my daily driver.
So there , I'd have all the track day , Vintage , and street cars covered.
OH , and an Ultima GTR Twin-Turbo LS motor , too.
Just because Ultimas rule.
