Anyone running the Flowmaster Super 44's?

Anyone running the Super 44's ??

I was wondering what they sound like compared to the 40's...

I know alot of people feel the 40's are too loud and resonate in the car alot....

I'm running Super 44's. I originally had 2 1/4" junk turbo mufflers. Then upgraded to 2 1/4" Super 44's. The tone is agressive when you get on it and throaty at idle. I then upgraded to 3" Super 44's with 1 7/8 headers and an X style crossover.

Sound preference is personal. I suggest you hookup some speakers to your PC/MAC and surf Youtube looking for 2 1/4", 2 1/2" and 3" mufflers on various blocks with various headers as a guide. Most people list the technical stats in the descriptions.

Then make your choice.

Bear in mind they are all alot louder in real life!

sounds like a flowmaster.. i know a couple guys with them... they're not that much louder.. if at all....

my stock 350 with 2.5" spintechs was the same noise level as a built 350 with 2.5" 44's... don't know how much help that is though..
