Hello everybody,
I am replacing my vintage style am/fm radio and am going with a modern radio with CD. But I want to add good speakers up front. what are my options? I had seen where a guy added them in the kick panels does someone make those kick panel speaker assy? What is a really good set up?

Thanks in advance

What car? Some places have kick panel speaker kits, but they are car specific.

I hate kick panel speakers. They take up too much room and you always have your feet hitting them. I think the better solution is to tuck a pair of speakers under the dash pointing at your feet. May have to reduce/remove your glovebox for that on a smaller car though.

How about door speakers? I have a '69 Camaro

If done correctly, the kick panels are the way to go. They will only stick out about 1/2 inch and if your hitting your feet on 1/2"...well then you have really big feet. :rotfl:
