RIP to those involved. Shame the driver always lives when they're usually at fault. I always tell people if I had my camaro at the age of 20 I'd be dead by now and I'm sure of it.
We have to respect our cars..

sorry to hear of the loss of life.
the car being lost is bad as well but of course no consequence compared.
this is a great example why my children will never get a muslce car from me - they can get one when they can afford it and keep it up -a nd I will discourage it before then. the brain just doesnt uderstand that the body can break before it turns 25 or 30

Idiots... driver and passengers.
One for driving while intoxicated... two, for getting into a car with someone that has been drinking.
RIP... to the chassis.

What would that be like to be responsible for the deaths of your best friends? How must he feel!? Would be WAY toooo much for me to handle I know that for sure.

Sad deal for all. Looks like the streets were wet in the video. Alcohol, speed, M/T drag radials on wet pavment made a deadly combination.

Sorry to see it...but not everyone is cut out to drive these cars. They don't have any safety devices and massive power. You need common sense and experience.

extra speed, heavier wheels, and 4 wheel drum brakes. What could possibly go wrong?

I saw this on the news first thing this morning. It is very sad. I feel so sorry for them & their families. They were stupid, but still feel bad for them.
I had a 67 camaro when I was that age. I am glad that never happened to me. I drove crazy but not that crazy. I didn't even drink at that age.
What a waste of life and a cool car. My prayers go out to their families & friends.
It is a good reminder to all of us do drive safer & have the proper safety gear. They all could not have been wearing safety belts or they could not have been thrown from the car.
I hope some good comes from it in others learning from it.

RIP!
Our prays go out to there families
Just one more reason why skinny front tires belong on the drag strip an not on the street.
To bad we didnt get to them before this happen, we could have thought them about the Pro-Touring way of life. (maybe have made his car safer)

Prayers for all the families. Very sad. I have kids that age. Ever since they were tiny tots I taught them to NOT DRINK AT ALL. To this day none of them drink. Sober teenagers make better decisions. An underperforming car may have contributed to thier deaths but it was not the determining factor.

Sad, but nature go rid of the idiots I supposed. I have no tolerance for drinking and driving.

This link goes to a picture that's distorted:

and the tires look skinny, but I bet they are 235's.
Speed, age, wet road, and drag radials don't mix well...then, if it's true, add in the drinking. His Myspace page has info about drugs, drinking and hot rods... Sounds like a deadly mixture. :drive2: I wonder if they even had seat belts on? I feel bad for the families involved. If he comes out alive, he's going doing time in jail...and he's going to be scarred for life. I can't imagine.

My condolences to the family and friends. With the way the roof was. I am not sure if seat belts would have helped much, I think head injury was serious with the way the roof is caved in.
