I am installing a C5 Master Cylinder into my 2nd gen with C5 brakes in front and LS1 rear brakes. I am also using a Summit Prop Block with is an Adjustable Proportioning Valve And Distribution Block all in one and have a few questions.

1. Do I use 3/16 lines from the Master to the Prop block or 1/4 for that run? I am using 3/16 from the prop block to the calipers.

2. I thought I read that the rear reservoir is for the front brakes and the front reservoir is for the rear brakes. Does anyone know for sure?

-Thanks

yes front for rear, rear for front, run 3/16ths everywhere,
i just did this with hydraboost, c5 master, etc works very well, no need for a dist block, i ran rear line thru a proportioning valve and its works perfect

Thank You very much. Out of curiosity, what would happen if these were reversed?

not sure, may not have enough volume for front calipers. easy enough to reverse.

I'm using a S10 master. Can I use 3/16" from master to the prop.valve and 1/4" from there to rear. I have new SS lines all over so I prefer to use these... Front is 3/16" so that's OK.

if you already have 1/4 you can use it, but if starting from scratch 3/16 is what should be used

I'm having the 1/4" lines front to rear from the kit i bought to the stock rear drums. No shop/ store sells SS brake lines here in Norway. To order 1 feet of SS lines will be very expensive shipped to Norway. I would like to use SS all over. Friend of mine has some SS 3/16" lines I was hoping would be OK to use from master to prop.valve.

Should be fine with 3/16". Won't effect performance or feel at all with that short of a run from the MC to the PV.
