Looking good. Although I'm not a fan of the inlet tube that close to the hot side plumbing.

Thanks, probably bigger turbo. those pics are kind of old, it has the mirrors on it and a lightweight hood. Was thinking about putting on the carbon fiber front and rear bumpers. taking some weight out of it. We shall see.

Thanks I do :)

yeah all the stuff was done by me and my friend.

in a short run down.......

408 small block, should make about 1400hp with this turbo, and has run a best of 9.0 @153 with a injured turbo400 transmission.

Just an observation I suppose. Looking at the profile pic it does appear to be farther away than my first glance.

Although aluminum sheds off heat quicker than steel I would think the intake charge could still absorb radiant heat from the hot side while the car is staging at the track. Off course, while the vehicle is moving is a different story since you have air movement within the engine compartment.

Back at W2W we always did our best to separate it the best we could.

yeah i hear ya, i was HIGHLY worried about it also. But with the intercooler and the whole thing, the data log shows very nice air temp :screwy:

and the other guy? turning is done with different wheels :D

WOW! What a car! May I make a request? If you can. post a picture of the nose showing the stripes on the hood. I'm interested in that color combo.
