Let me know what you think of these quarter vents on a 1968 camaro I saw at Lone Star Good Guys. I think it was one of the better body mods I saw. I spoke with the owner who said he fabricated them himself. He said it took 2 days per vent. It would take me a lot longer.

He did a nice job with it. One thing I might have added is some kind of screen so rocks don't get in there. I'm not quite sure I like it, but I think it would grow on me.

This car must be getting around. It was at the Kansas City Goodguys as well. I do have to say they look much better in person than in pics. I really like the look.

I guess he is showing it a lot becuase he is trying to sell it for $125K. It was a nice car but not worth that much. I still think rockdogz is the best buy out there.

Here are a few more pics since you asked - rear tail panel with 69 tail lights, extended spoiler, and exhaust. He is running a fuel cell in the trunk. I have a few more pics if you interested in a different angle or something. Wish he would of taken it a bit further like smoothing the bumper.

I was taught if you can't say something nice, then don' t say it....

But I didnt learn much so here goes.............

I think he should have saved the money and bought a 69 as they obviously like the looks better.
But, ill give credit where credit is due. It looks good, and im sure a lot of blood sweat and tears went into it. That I can sympathize with. :smoke:

I like um, been thinkin about doing something like that on my 93 dak. Just somethin different on a truck that no one else has done, but nothin too hard. haven't got the tools here at the house to do it other than a welder and can do the body work but the metal work I'd have to do at work.

That really is a pretty cool looking mod. I had to look for several seconds to convince myself it was actually a 68 and not a 69. Those 60 tail lights and rear emblems look OK. I really like the 67-8 look better personally. I am not a big fan of the Mustang-ish rear spoiler and stripe. Reminds me of "Elenor" from gone in s60 seconds. Over all it looks to be a well fabricated and thought out build.
