I saw that in the mag. I wish my car wasn't in a million pieces!

I might go and spectate anyway, since it's like 15 minutes from me.

"Kevin England and Precision Autosports plan to hold the ultimate street machine Olympics in Florida this fall."

The beginning of the page says something about Florida, but Kil-Kare is in Ohio????????????????????

Minor Typo That Was Corrected In The Magazine. It Is Definately In Ohio.

I Was Also Informed That It Is In Car Craft This Month As Well, Don't Have Proof Yet.

I sent an email to Precision Autosports asking how to participate. No answer yet. Has anyone else got more info? Is this one of those "by invitation only" type events?

This Event Is Open To Anyone. The Goal Is 50 Cars. If There Are More Than 50 Then The Fastest 50 Will Be Picked Or There Will Be A Few Spots Added, Depends On The Number Of Cars.

BZZZT wrong.

Cannonball is hauling butt on public roads = stupid and proves nothing.

These events are timed on controlled tracks. Therefore the results ACTUALLY prove something while not putting the general public at risk.

The NOS limit is a bit shady Unless they have a boost limit too.
Me thinks a decent WRX could take this all day.. Like this 9 sec pump gas street car....

This Is The Inagural Event Changes Can Always Be Made.

If You Have A 9 Sec Street Car, I Would Be Very Disappointed To Not See It In Action.

Cool. How do I sign up or put my name in the hat? I'm only about three hours away. This could be a fun "last fling" before winter settles in.

Cool. Thanks.

Have you nailed down a date yet? If it's on the 19th I won't be able to make it but I should have no problem on the 26th.

well, if you need more entries to reach 50, let me know. I'll enter my truck or my wife's Accord or something.

You Can Never Have Too Many Entries. If It Comes Down To It, Extras Can Be Alternates.

That Would Also Be A Lot Of Travel Time For You Too, Steve. Although I Would Love To See You Car In Action First Hand.

There Are Still Several Spots Open. I Talked To The NEW Track Manager This Evening. He Will Have A Meeting With His Staff Tomorrow, And I Have A Meeting With Him Again Monday At 10am To Decide The Fianl Date.

oh well - the 100 mile cruise with no fill ups kills it for me.

I have a 15 gallon tank and at 5 - 6 mpg that aint going to cut it.

I am not going to replace my tank for that.

Due To Time(daylight) Contraints I Am Considering A 50 Mile Instead. Half The Time And Still Enough To Prove Its Streetability.

Due To Some Recent Complications And A Death In The Family This Is Postponed Until Late Spring Early Summer. Sorry For The Pre-mature Excitment, Without A Proper Ending.

Thank You For The Condolences. It Was A Sad Day But At 92 Years Of Age It Was Bound To Happen Anytime. This Event Will Happen Next Year And I Plan For It To Be Bigger And Better Than It Was At First Expected To Be.

Thanks Again
Kevin
