I posted this by mistake in non racing. Anyone here going to Memphis this coming weekend?
I am trying to get my act together to make it and was wondering who else I might see.

Guess I was the only one from this site to make the LSX Shootout. You'all missed a great event. Hardcore heads up racing for three straight days. It was quite an eyeopener to what is being done with LSX power. My Tuner was there with his Worlds Fastest Trailblazer. Turned a 9.27 at 144. Could have bettered it but the rear couldn't take the HP. Many LS powered cars in the 7's. A couple in the 6's at over 200 MPH. The LS car show was my first chance to showoff my Elky build. There was some really well done cars incluing a very neat Miata that the owner uses for track days. LS1tech picked my Elky for their editors choice and I also was awarded best in show Hybrid. The Elky made the 2150 miles trip with no problems and managed nearly 23 MPG.

Sounds like like you had a great time MIke. I can't wait to see your car next year at RTTH.

It was a lot of fun but doing the trip alone kinda beat me up. There is always the Charlotte Goodguys in two weeks. Chances are our paths will cross before next fall.

Darrin,
Lucky for me I am my own best company. Do you think I should worry about having lengthy conversations with myself? I guess as long as it doesn't turn into an arguement, huh?
Can't wait to show it to you.
