Oh please no. That is so yesterday and I am glad that day has passed. Never really thought they were all that attractive. I would rather see a old dash in a new car!

You asked for thoughts.

If your looking to modernize your interior, put in some better touring seats, maybe build a console, upgrade guages. These are all things Ive done, but by the same token it not all that different. I'd be hard pressed to find something truely different anymore.

Build your own dash so its more custom. You can do a cool metal dash painted or wrapped in leather to be one off.

I really doubt that there's going to be wrecking yards full of them right after they're released. More than likely, your only option will be to buy new from the factory.

If you want to replace the dash with a late model style, I would look at a 4th gen Firebird dash. I think it looks waaaay better than a 4th gen Camaro.

If you don't find the info you need or just want to make it a custom dash, I can give a few pointers as I built my own dash in my 69'.
