Can anyone tell me the ideal back space in mm for a 71 Cutlass in a 17" front and rear? I found a guy that has a set of Fikse FM/5 17x8.5 and 17x10 but he said they have 42mm and 45mm or 48mm rear, I'm not to sure about the conversion. Thanks Jeff

Scot's got the correct conversion for you, but odds are that the 42mm, 45mm, and 48mm dimensions you gave are the wheel offset dimension, not backspacing. There are several links in this thread to calculators: https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35432&highlight=offset+calculator
