New wheels for my 69 project [Archive]

Just picked these up for my 69 Camaro project. Wish I could have gotten something a little nicer but with a growing family and tight budget, this is all I could do...I personally love them...they are actually BMW 19x 8.5 for the front and 19x9.5 in the rear both with 35mm offsets. They really resemble BBS RXII's. Im gonna go with 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 tires and Im gonna make my own spacers in my shop probably 1.25 spacers should set me up with 4.8 BS in front and 5.3 BS in the rear. What do you guys think of these wheels?

I think they are badass and going to look great, but that's the look I want to go also, so I'm kinda biased! What color is the car going to be and about how much was the set if you don't mind me askin?

I paid $800 shipped to my door. The finish isnt the best on them . Looks great in the front but the back has a little shadowing. You really cant see it once installed but I know its there so it bugs me. I am leaning toward a graphite grey color.

Me neither on the center cap. I am gonna get a cap from a BBS RXII and see if it will go on there.

You should do wheel adapters, not spacers of you are going to have a 1.5" thick offset to overcome.

Adapters actually bolt to the hub pattern and have their own wheel studs instead of just being a spacer and being submitted to longer wheel studs and rear wheel torque.

Plus, you can match the actual 5x4.75 and 5x120mm wheel patterns using an adapter.:yeah:

Where else??? Egay....place was in FLorida....They were $800 shipped...dirt cheap I know. We will see how they hold up...You will also probably have to wait at least a year to see them mounted becasue I am just rounding up parts right now.
