i just bought these plates

and i have a ls1 rear disc setup to go on the car, i have questions about the ebrake setup. i was curious if anyone has done this before and what they did to get the e-brake to work? it is a standard shift car if it were automatic i wouldnt worry about an ebrake.

just looking for some insight before i jumped into it thanks!

I have a G-Bar and there are no interference issues so my experience may not apply. I swapped the sides to convert the ebrake cables to front pull and then used the entire 4th gen ebrake cables and ebrake lever along with the plate where the cables meet. I welded the cable mounts to the spring perches. It works well so far.

I changed sides on mine, i.e. left backing plate on the right side. By doing this the cables are pointed forward very much like the drum cables. I got the long cables that Touring Classic sells and they fit perfectly.

I welded the cable bracket/retainer to the axle.
