To bad the cost of the parts to manufacture wheels is also going UP! Be glad that retail is not going up also.

Like Jon said, we feel it just as much as you guys do and just like in everyone's day to day from the gas station to the grocery store where everything costs more, our parts are costing more too and we haven't raised our prices a cent.
These aren't discount parts or products so it isn't like McDonald's adding items to the dollar menu in response to the economy.

Sure, Aluminum prices are down (NOT!), Cost of business is down (NOT!), transportation and fuel are down (NOT!).
Sometimes I feel like a high pressure sales person sometimes when I tell a customer to buy now or it will cost more, but it is the facts.
Every year we see price increases from suppliers on the various products we sell. This usually happens in the Winter, Mostly right after the first of the year. That increase is usually 2 to 4 percent. I look for larger percentage increase this year then usual because of fuel and transportation cost if nothing else.
Many contracts require a supplier to guarantee a price for a specified period of time, maybe a year. I know for a fact talking to industry that has locked pricing, they are bleeding right now selling at commited prices they are forced to hold to. out of the 1000s of part number we sell, only one product line has actually lowered their prices.
So the best thing you can hope for on your wheels is that creative guys like Jon and myself will continue to find ways to bring deals to the marketplace.

If you want to save money, stay with a 17 or 18" rim instead of the 20s to 22s. The tires are cheaper too.
