Hey everyone...I'm new here. I'm from Mesa, AZ (near Phx) and I've got a '71 Camaro SS that's an all-original (for now) daily driver.

I'm also a student at AZ St Univ and I'm designing control arms for my '71 as my senior design project...I've posted a thread in the Suspension section about it. Here's a link:

https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4800

Any advice/comments from people more experienced than me would be greatly appreciated...

Well, I am going to start by saying that I don't know anything about suspension design. But I do know alot about ASU. I too live in Mesa and am going to ASU. :icon996:

You can add one more to the ASU list. I live in Tempe and work in Gilbert. We should all meet up sometime.

Good to have some AZ guys around. Sometimes I think all the car nuts are on the east coast...

Hey man!

This is Ryan from school....glad to see you on here. I'm pretty much just a lurker around here, but let me know if you need any help with your project. I don't know much about the theory, but I can help with disassembly/resassembly.

Later!
Ryan

I live in Ahwatukee and work in Chandler...own a '69 Camaro. Nice to know who else is local may need to buy/sell some parts or refer each other to known good deals! I know a guy who has a 12 bolt Posi with 4:11's if any of you are interested. I believe it has been gone through recently too. PM me if interested and I'll refer you to him. I was going to buy it but had a 10 bolt built for me.

Welcome to the board. Peoria checking in. I live near Lake Pleasant but my office is in Tempe. I am just past the college age, but I do enjoy driving down University on the way to work to gawk at the local scenery :jawdrop:

Thanks for trying, now I think about it, we still have another 12 Bolt with slicks on it, gears are like 5.11 something not sure. But I think it came out of a older truck. But we would get rid of it for like 300.00$, slicks and all. If anyone needs one its a good price. :naughty:
