Does anyone know of a simple free program that will take a 2-3 minute long mpg file that's like 150 meg in size and shrink it down to something much smaller?

personally, I usually end up converting to a raw DV-AVI type of file, then re-encoding in the preferred format. (usually wmv or the like)
