So I just finished assembling my upper and lower SPC arms with AFX Spindles and Varishock Coilovers. I must say they look great on the freshly powder coated subframe. Just wondering if anyone else was running that combination (or anything close to it) and what their thoughts were after the car was on the road? I will try and get some pics up soon.

Are you using the tall spindles? Is this a Camaro?

That's what I'm running and the car handles really really well. Just make sure you either do the alignment yourself or find someone with half a brain to do your alignment. The guy I had was a dim-wit and couldn't get close to the specs I asked for because he didn't know how to work the arms.

Just out of curiosity, how low is your car, do you have any pictures? thanks

I have very few pictures of the car to this point. But this may help...

This is with a 245/40-18 front tire, eibach springs, small block. I know....I know...the rear was really high....

edit: found one with the same wheels and tires, old stock worn out front suspension.

Yeah that looks good though, I'm going for a P/T look w/ 19's and as low as i can possibly go. I believe the coilovers should give me a decent amount of adjustability. Are you using drop springs at all, and just stock leaf springs in the rear?

I think the rear springs in the car at that time would actually be considered higher than stock. Certainly not lower, I can tell you that. As for the fronts....I know eibach says they will lower the car, but not how much they claim...maybe 1-2"...

I am running Varishock Coilovers with the highest pound spring rate they make, so I can go real low and hopefully avoid bottoming out the shock.

It looks great... except it looks like a 4x4. You need to lower it before someone confuses you for joe dirt!:poke:

You have done a great job with the rest of it though!

These are just some "before" pictures... the rear is lower now and the second picture was before any of the suspension mods so that he could see how much drop was achieved.
