Have been making progress on my saturday project slowly but surely.

Body work all done, down to final blocking and then painting. Just waiting on my SSBC disc brake kit to install the front sub frame. We got the QA-1 coil over conversion installed the other week. Rearend rebuilt, underside/inside has been raptored. Smoothed out the firewall, and just shot some bc/cc torch red this last weekend on the firewall/cowl.

Here are some shots of the progress. Sorry about some of the pix quality, cellphone camera for the lose!

Torch Red is a very pretty color.

On this pic here...
Did you start color sanding down towards the far end of the cowl?
I noticed it starts off shiney then gets dull.

It Looks very nice, sharp color. I'm jealous I'm not at that point . Keep the pictures coming

That is pre color sanding... what you see is the next day after shooting the paint. The shadows and over head work light may be affecting the look.
