Let me try in a new post:

I got a complete 12 bolt built by Moser with C-clip eliminators, big Ford ends, Moser axles with 7/16 studs a couple of years ago. I contacted 5 different companies for a Wilwood rear disc set and got 5 different part# for this kit (staggered shock kit, Ford kit, 12 bolt kit and so on). Totally lost here...

If you have Ford ends (assuming Torino style with 3/8" T-bolts), then you need a Ford kit. Assuming you have the correct 2.5" axle offset as well.

For staggered shocks, you need to run swap sides for the backing plates. That way the e-brake hardware will clear the shocks.

What Matt said X2. Verify your flange pattern as being a 2.00" x 3.56" rectangular pattern from center to center of the holes. If it is and it has the 2.50" brake offset dimension and 3/8" bolts, it's a "Torino" or "New Style" Ford big-bearing housing end.

If it's something different, post up what you've got.

It should be as easy as asking Frank @ Prodigy Customs (GPSuperstore).

I have the exact same rearend, but for my specific application, I have rear disc setup for a 2nd gen Camaro, staggered shocks. I can get the part #'s tonight.

The killer was, Moser, sells complete rears WITH the Wilwood discs...and they never asked if I had staggered shocks, so I ended up with the wrong setup for the driver side.....but Frank got me squared away........call Frank, give him all of the information, and he will get you the correct setup!!!:hail:

Just checked my Moser invoice:

88128 Big Ford Axle bearing 3.150/1.531
8060 Stck chev 7/16-20x 1 1/4 .480 Knurl
9900 Chevy Car retainer plates
7900 Chevy car housing ends

Still in the dark...

The #7900 Moser housing ends are their GM inverted trapezoidal pattern/Ford Bearing hybrid housing ends. The #9900 retainer plates should be an open "c" design and work with the standard 80mm ball-bearings, but Moser specifies a different retainer (#9900TB) for the SET20 tapered roller bearings, presumably because of the external seal.

Because your axle has the hybrid housing ends, I'm assuming that it has the GM brake offset dimension of 2.81" from the housing to the outside of the axle shaft. This is usually done with a spacer between the bearing and the axle or custom machined axles...I think Moser uses spacers.

Frank at Prodigy deals with both Moser and Wilwood, so he should be able to give you a straight answer based on what you have for a housing and what Wilwood has to offer.

Wow Tobin, that's some good info there!!
Probably we're looking at the staggered shock set?

I met Frank last May in Fl, great guy, will contact him after Sema.

My Moser weld on ends for taper bearings allowed the stock Trans Am brackets to bolt right up.

They do have the same 2.81(actually 2.86 as best I can measure) offset with Moser axles.
