I have been thinking of this little project for a long time after seeing several Camaros with a 3rd brake light in their spoilers. While driving one day it dawned on me why not put a 3rd brake light in the TA spoiler. If you look around just about all the modern cars with spoilers have a 3rd brake light in them. I found my brake light at www.spoilerlights.com (http://www.spoilerlights.com) . I purchased a 15.5" brake light for about $50.00.

I set my light about 1" back from the rear edge of the spoiler and centered it between the two pedestals.

After using a fine sharpie outlining the light I used my trusty dremel tool to cut out the hole for the light. I saved the cut out piece.

Here is what the inside of a TA spoiler looks like.

The piece that was cut out was used to reinforce the inside of the spoiler. I made 2 5" pieces and 4 1.5" pieces. I put the 5" pieces on edge and epoxied them inside the spoiler. The 1.5" pieces were epoxied in to give the brake light something to screw into.

I then drilled a whole for the brake light wires to pass into the trunk

After attaching the light into the cutout I blended the light into the spoiler. I still have a little more work to do, but as you can see it looks like it was made for it all along.

It really turn out better than I expected.
