Long time ago had a Chevelle with serious wheel hop problem. Put a set of those brackets that bolt onto the upper control arms and the rear housing. They raised the upper control arms a couple of inches on the housing. Worked great for forward acceleration. Have another set here and was wondering if they are OK to use on a G-machine type build. Will they adversly affect handling in the corners? What other things should I do to rear suspension to ensure my A-body handles great. Already got original sway bar, global west springs and decent shocks. Big rear disc will be installed next week and hoping to change anything else (rearend wise) at same time. Thanks

Great for straight line use....you may not like the brake hop they induce going into a hard right hander at 80MPH+. I wouldn't use them.

No hops also give you an even higher geometric rear roll center and a greater rate of rear axle roll steer than OE. Generally, you want less than the OE values for both when handling has priority.
