ok I have a chance to get some stock 16x8 wheels from a fourth gen firebird and was wondering what I would need to make these work on my 1968 firebird the suspension on my car is all stock. any links to parts needed would be great. Also would these wheels stick out past the fenders with spacers? thanks.

Also if you know where I could get a 5 spoke wheel that looks similar that will fit without spacers let me know.

Have you measured the back spacing on the 4th gen wheels? I have a set of 16x8's from a 95 Z28 on my 69 Camaro. It took 1.5 inch bolt on adapters in the front and 2 inch in the rear.

The steering arm has to be the shortest one to work, and even then, the tie rod's really close to the edge of the wheel. You can check David Pozzi's site for a comparison of the steering arms.

I never even drove on the wheels though, cause I got the C5 brakes before I finished with everything else, and now I need 17's to clear those rotors and calipers.
