Hey guys, I was looking in Summit racing and noticed Ealgle Alloys makes a 2 piece polished aluminum rim which looks very similar to the Torque Thrust II. They are the Series 211. They seem to be a bit cheaper than the Torque thrusts as well. Any one have any experience with these or this brand? There web site is www.aewheel.com.

Don't know much about them but they do look good. What car are you mounting them on? What sizes are you looking for? Just curious because I might have a set of TTII's for sale that are brand new. Never put on the street. Let me know what your application is.

Eagle Alloys are great for the price. They get a LOT of respect from me because theyre one of the only companies that still makes their wheels in the USA.

The great American Racing has closed their US manufacturing plants to start production in other parts of the world that are a lot cheaper.....Pretty weird, "American" Racing wheels made in China.

I have a set of 211 (17x8s) on my 68 Camaro. A friend of mine also but a set of 20 inch Eagle Alloys (different series) on his new Dodge Ram. They seem to make a top quality wheel for the price!!

I have no way to post pics of my car, but I can email them to you if you'd like.

I've had a set of Eagle 203's on my truck since '00. 17x8's and 17x9.5's. No problems or issues...

I had 18" 077's on my 01 Mustang, never had a problem other than the lug hole needed a real thin socket .....and the $ was SUPER cheap!!

I had a pair of 17X8s on my '64 Impala. They looked super. Other than that center cap, I couln't tell when parked next to TT IIs.
Are the new TTIIs made overseas? Anyone have a link or seen a Made in China sticker on the new ones? I'd like to support what is left of the country when I get a new set of rims.
Almost forgot, I have a nice set on my '63 Scout.
I did a google search and found a PDF file which states ARE is moving their low end line to China, and the higher profit stuff is staying here.

I was on Summit racing equipment and ordered a pair of 17 x 9.5" with 5.5" backspacing for the rear of my 69 camaro. I got the series 211 which look just like the TTII's. I am not sure if they were mispriced or not but I got them for 174.00 each. They are on backorder but for that price I didn't care.

I donŽt think it was a misprice. My price was inc. shipping.

And by the way.. I live in Sweden and IŽll hope to be kind of alone with these rims..
