Hey Guys,

After trying to win the battle of mating the Wilwood rear internal parking brake with the factory parking brake pedal I have found this to be an easy method that doesn't require any special parts other than the Lokar EC-81FU cable kit. From the instructions that came with the Lokar EC-81FU kit it would seem that you still need to purchase ANOTHER kit from Lokar if you want to use your factory parking brake pedal. I found this little method to work nicely with no additional drilling or bolting to the car required. Better yet you don't need to buy the additional part mentioned in the instructions. The pics should be easy to follow but let me know if you have any questions. I used this method on both sides of the car. This picture is of the driver's side/left rear cable. It allows you to keep all of your factory cables going forward intact after the factory joining connector shown. I took the Lokar brass block which had 4 allen screws and cut it in two. One block for each side, each cable. I hope this is helpful to anyone who has to install this same system.

I saw that thread along with some others when I was trying to look for tips on getting the park brake connected. I determined the method I used to be the easiest as you don't have to go any further than just replacing the last rear portion of the stock cables. The rest going forward remains factory and no need to fab up any custom brackets or mess around with connecting to the factory pedal in the car.
