Just got firected to the site from ls1tech. I currently have 2 cars, a 1978 Malibu that is currently my pro-touring project. I bought the car 6 years ago in pieces and I'm finally getting the time to start the project. I'm doing all of the work myself and this winter I'll be doing the chassis. I'll be boxing, bracing, cutting, sectioning, and whatever else needs to be done.
I also own a 1995 Z28 Camaro. I bought this car 2 years ago and it was bone stock down to the paper air filter. But that didn't last long since I gernaded the motor 100 miles into owning the car. I spun 2 rod bearings and there were3 broken compression rings. So I rebuilt the motor adding 11.1:1 compression pistons, Lloyd Elliot Stage 3 cylinder heads, ported intake, 58mm throttle body, Comp CC306 cam, Comp pro mag 1.6 rockers, all ARP hardware (studded mains, rod bolts, and head bolts), melling 10% higher volume oil pump, cloyes true double roller timing chain, stock crank and rods. I also added a 3K stall converter and 3.73 gears, hooker LT headers, custom X pipe and true duals, and a moroso CAI. But about 1000 miles into the new motor my stock tranny wouldn't take it anymore so I swapped to a T56 and a Spec stage 3 clutch and 4.10 gears. I now also have full UMI suspension, ST drop springs, and cheap shocks until I can afford some konis.
But anyway I'll basically have 2 projects this winter since the Camaro will be getting a new interior and the 'Bu's frame will be getting some love, but I'll take lots of pics and be sure to post them up, but for now heres the Camaro now sporting a custom true duals over the axle setup made by me, going into a magnaflow dual in dual out muffler and a clone of the SLP 2OTL (two on the left) tailpipes
