How much should i expect to pay for C4 front suspension parts? Say spindles, arms, hubs, rack, calipers and discs? Prices on ebay seem to be all over the place, what's a good ballpark for that lot?

100 to 150 per side @ corvette Carlisle all day long.
Ebay too just did a search 30 for arms upper or lower

30 for arms? I was seeing them at 130 each, upper or lower, what did you search for? I must be searching the wrong terms

I just picked up a complete k member and suspension off of an '84 for $100 at a swap meet. The only thing I'm missing is the rack.
Calling around to a few junkyards around my area, I was able to find the same setup would run about $300. A new stock replacement rack runs about $160 at a local parts house. Junkyard price was $85

for those prices, why doesn't everyone graft a Vette front clip under their car? now you got me wanting to do that to my 74 Monte Carlo..

To me its why the Jakes and AME subframes are so attractive!

Does Jakes still make a C4 front? All I'm seeing is the C6.
In fact, I can't find anyone making a decent C4 front any more.
If you can throw some links my way I'd appreciate it. At this point I'm looking to build my own, but if I can find one I like, I'd much rather go that route.

To directly answer your question... the Vette packaging leaves much to be desired in many cars. For starters, the engine will be set back an additional 6 - 8 inches encroaching on the firewall.
I'm not sure what year your Nova is, although you can see that very thing being done in an early Nova here... https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20842
I'm planning on using the UCA's, LCA's, and spindles with a yet to be determined rack, but building the majority of it myself.

Along with above, C4 geometry isn't all that great. Huge improvements were made with C5/C6 setups.

But if anyone wants a C4 rack, I have one for the cost of shipping.

I agree with you, although when creating a sub from scratch, can't you "fudge the numbers" a bit? You can't change UCA, LCA, or spindle length, but you can change frame attachment points.
I know that the C4 has very little negative camber gain. Are there any other problems of note?
I'm not a suspension guru by any means, but couldn't the camber gain problem be minimized by lowering the mount point for the UCA?
I simply ask these questions because that's the level of my current knowledge. I'd love to hear thoughts on if any of this will/won't work.
